In more than 25 years in the technology industry, Russell Doty has repeatedly crossed the boundaries between engineering, marketing, and product management. In his current role, he combines technical research and market analysis to plan for the future of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Russell is active in the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is past president of the Boston chapter and has been driving the highly regarded professional development seminar series for the past 8 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
