Today’s hyper-connected and digitized world creates unprecedented new opportunities as well as challenges. Across every industry, the winners are those that can truly harness the power of data to identify opportunities, make quick decisions, and execute efficient business operations. This demands a radically new approach to managing information.
In this session, we’ll share SAP’s data management strategy and describe the enabling technologies–SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SAP IQ, SAP SQL Anywhere–that let you transact, integrate, analyze, and deliver any data to any application, user, or machine, located anywhere in real-time. And you can do this with low TCO. We’ll also discuss how we’re working with Red Hat to deliver this vision to our customers.
HP’s ConvergedSystem 700x provides an entire system infrastructure for fast and flexible deployments of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, which is designed to scale with your growing workload needs. It’s also designed to deliver performance and manageability with a highly engineered ecosystem of compute, storage, networking, and management.
In this session, we’ll discuss best practices for Red Hat EnterpriseLinux OpenStack Platform 4 and HP CS700x system deployments. We’ll also discuss how this high-performance, low-latency architecture is ideal for rapid deployment and non-disruptive scaling of capacity and performance.
By 2017, half of all companies will likely have hybrid cloud deployments. As companies move to deploy mission-critical applications to the cloud, ensuring 24×7 quality of service, security, and compliance are built into the cloud is mandatory.
In this session, IBM’s Kershaw Metha will join Steve Dickens to provide an overview and host a discussion about how new integrated IBM hardware and OpenStack software innovations are enabling differentiated capabilities for Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based hybrid cloud deployments.
Struggling to cost-effectively manage growing amounts of data while extracting more value from them? Join us to learn how running Red Hat Storage Server on HP ProLiant SL4540 Gen8 servers offers massive scalability, high performance, and volume economics for storage of all kinds of unstructured data. In particular, you’ll learn about the 2-node ProLiant SL4540 Gen8 Server series, which offers scalable and cost-effective solutions for creating a large file and object store, deploying an enterprise drop box or cloud storage for service providers, and establishing a nearline archive.
Learn how Red Hat collaborates with its technology partners to deliver the world’s largest ecosystem based on open standards. By relying on a product stack that has been certified, customers can accelerate their time-to-market and greatly reduce their deployment risks. Join us as we discuss Red Hat Connect, a new program that brings together hardware, software, and service vendors to deliver secure, innovative solutions.
OpenStack is a cloud operating system that controls large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources throughout a datacenter—all managed through a dashboard that gives control to administrators while empowering their users to provision resources through a web interface. OpenStack’s block storage component (Cinder) allows block devices to be exposed and connected to running virtual machines on the compute nodes for providing expanded storage, better performance, and integration with enterprise storage platforms.
In this session, you’ll be introduced to the integration of Symantec Storage Solutions with OpenStack’s Cinder component, which can be achieved with Cinder Drivers provided by Symantec both over NFS and iSCSI backbone. You’ll also get deep dives regarding architectures, configurations, and analysis to help you configure Symantec Storage Foundation High Availability in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack environments.
Dell and Red Hat have partnered for more than 14 years to bring customers value by collaborating on Red Hat solutions across Dell’s enterprise offerings. Now, Dell and Red Hat are co-engineering OpenStack cloud solutions for enterprise customers and service providers. These solutions are designed to remove complexity, stabilize OpenStack and its operating environment, and provide a risk-free way to effectively deploy private cloud computing–in any organization.
Join this session to learn how Dell and Red Hat are strengthening their long-standing collaboration and commitment to help you confidently embrace open cloud computing technologies. You’ll also learn how you can not only benefit from the co-engineered solutions, but also from the companies’ combined cloud expertise, enterprise innovation, and dedicated support and portfolio of services.
One of Cisco’s key contributions within OpenStack has been the evolution and development of Neutron, the OpenStack Networking Service. Using Neutron’s plug-in model, Cisco has integrated both its Network Function Virtualization, Unified Fabric, and Application-Centric Infrastructure (ACI) products to simplify the deployment of highly scalable, manageable, and secure networks.
This session will show how the addition of Cisco networking solutions can help orchestrate Red Hat’s entire OpenStack deployment, including networking, compute, and storage.
In this session, you’ll learn how:
- To increase the networking scalability of OpenStack with both hardware and software products including Nexus 3k/5k/6k/7k/9k, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure, and Cisco N1Kv, CSR1Kv, AVS on Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) technology.
- How UCS Manager makes it easy to configure a bare-metal node for OpenStack pilot and production deployments with both blade and rack mount servers.
- How Cisco’s ACI architecture can be deployed and integrated with OpenStack.
