Paul Turner is responsible for marketing, product planning, and strategy at Cloudian. A storage industry expert, Paul previously led the Product Strategy Office at NetApp, where he guided investments into FlashRay, Iongrid, and CacheIQ. Prior to that role, he was the general manager of the OnCommand Insight Business (which included Onaro and Akorri).
Paul has more than 23 years of development and management leadership, including 15 years at Oracle where he led Oracle’s Technology Alliances Division and and its Support Engineering Team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
Chris manages product management, technical marketing, and business development for Cisco’s OpenStack efforts. Chris came to Cisco via the acquisition of vCider, whose products enabled virtual networking in the public cloud. Prior to vCider, Chris was CEO of SnapLogic, a cloud data integration company, and founder and CEO of Resonate, an early pioneer in server load balancing solutions. Chris holds a BSEE from Columbia, an MSEE/CA from Berkeley, and an MBA from Stanford.
Frank Schapfel is a 16-year Intel veteran marketing various communications and networking programs. Frank has lead market development, technical support, segment/industry marketing, and product marketing teams launching new initiatives like Network Processors, Intel Communications platforms, and QuickAssist technology. Before Intel, Frank held sales and marketing roles at Samsung Semiconductor, IDT, and Digital Equipment. Frank has a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA with High Honors from Boston University.
Jonathan Donaldson’s team is responsible for defining and executing Intel’s strategy for private, hybrid, and public cloud automation. Jonathan joined Intel recently from VCE, where he was the senior director of Corporate Engineering. Jonathan’s organization worked with customers, sales teams, and engineering to deliver deep technical and IT architecture knowledge across a wide spectrum of datacenter practices including orchestration, security, compliance, multi-tenancy, VDI, applications, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining VCE, Jonathan worked at EMC, NetApp, and more than a decade at Cisco. At Cisco, he worked in various roles, including enterprise solutions engineering, field sales, marketing, and emerging technologies. In more than 20 years in the industry, Jonathan has worked both inside and outside of the IT vendor community. Previous companies include: Cabletron, Cardinal Health, State Savings Bank, and Huntington National Bank.
Jonathan received his education at The Ohio State University, with a focus on Communications and Computer Information Science. Jonathan has been happily married for more than 17 years, and has 3 boys (ages 14, 10, and 8).
